Facebook Giveaway

This is probably a simple thing but I have no idea what I'm doing.  I'd like to run a FB ad offering a downloadable guide when signing up.  I have the guide in pdf format.   How do I connect the facebook ad to the the right  list (5 tips)?  I'm thinking I add a link to the the auto-respond message when I get someone adds their email to the list?
