{First Name} field not working

Hello,

 

We are attempting to send an email newsletter, but while testing, the, "Dear {First Name}," tag always changes to, "Dear (Sender Name), instead of "Dear (Recipient Name)"

 

I have tried removing the sender name from the contact list, but am still having this issue. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to solve this issue?

Just to clarify, are you properly inserting either a greeting tag, or using the insert contact detail functionality to set the greeting up?

 

Another thing to keep in mind, assuming you've setup the greeting tag / insert contact detail correctly, is that previews and test sends will only show the account owner's name / info. Only live sendouts will include the contacts' details.
