Having an Employer Identification Number (EIN) to register for SMS marketing

My question is, they I am givien a special number to use and send and receive sms does that after my regular phone number or how does that work

Replies from contacts will be handled on an automated basis, so it wouldn't be a matter of you directly receiving the responses and managing them.
