Help authenticating an email with domain different than website domain

We recently switched to Google Workspace for education and needed to create a new domain for a new tenant to accomplish the email switch. As such, we want to use the new email addresses for Constant Contact, yet our website domain is remaining as the original domain (x.org). How can we set up Constant Contact to authenticate on the new email domain (y.org)? We have entered the new DNS info in Advanced Settings - do we just need to wait 24-48 hours for something to happent?

Can we remove the original authentication on x.org and then add y.org for authentication? How? Thanks for any assistance!!!

SusanR981 yes you can - in your "settings" go to "advanced" and remove all the previous self-authentication. Then you can start fresh using the new domain you want to send from and once you add those DNS records to the new domain it should be able to authenticate in anywhere from 5 minutes to 2 days.

You'll want to check back and click the button to have it "check and confirm" which will switch it all to green and give you checkmarks.

Don't forget the original step to actually add it to an email "from" line which will trigger an email to that inbox with a link to click. That has to be done as well.
