NEW DNS Requirements

Hi There,

With your new DNS requirement in place, I was wondering if you plan on  creating a short blurb that we could paste at the end of our emails? This is for the purpose of making our end users feel comfortable given that our email address as a sender, appears different.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you.

Hello @HOPE_Volleyball ,

Are your emails' from addresses using multiple domains? If not, you can setup your account for self-authentication with your domain's host. That way you can still send using the normal email address.

If you're unable to self-authenticate and must use the ccsend rewrite, some ideas I can suggest are:

  • Make an email notifying all of your contacts of this change.
    • Subject: Notification of changes to our sending address(es)
    • "With Google and Yahoo's industry changes aligning with other email clients to mitigate spam, it's become necessary to change our sending addresses to maintain deliverability. If this email has arrived in your spam or junk folder, please move it into your inbox, or mark it as Not Spam, so you can continue to receive emails from us as expected. If you're an IT specialist for your organization and need to safelist domains, please see this article from our provider."
  • A small bit of verbiage at the end of your next several emails (or indefinitely):
    • "Due to industry changes by several major email clients, we've needed to change our sending addresses to maintain our emails' deliverability. If this email has arrived in your junk or spam folder, please consider moving it to your regular inbox or marking it as Not Spam. If you're an IT specialist for your organization and need to safelist domains, please see this article from our provider."
