New to Constant Contact; have only been using 3-4 weeks. When I select a pattern for the Outer Background, nothing changes. It USED to. Now nothing happens. Can change colors; can add custom color; can use photograph; just cannot add a pattern anymore. Working on MacBook Pro with Sonoma 14.4.1. Running Safari bc Chrome crashes constantly. Also working on a copy of previous campaign, saved under new date (weekly newsletter)...could any of these things be causing pattern selection not to "take"? Thanks.

If you've used the section editor functionality (the pencil in the top-left corner of the outer background), then it will overwrite the default elements of the Design tab for the outer background. Going forward for your emails, if they're copied from another email where the section editor has been used, then only that can be used to format the outer background.
