how do I test how my registration looks and functions, as well as test the reporting before it goes live.

Similar to the old system, you'll make the event live and then use the registration link or the blue Register Someone button to go through the process. For guidance on viewing and managing registrations, including manually registering people, please see this article.

The new event system also provides additional info on overall order (registration) totals, ticket types, addons, and promo codes utilized. Make sure to check out our article on viewing and exporting event activity reports for a full overview of how reporting works in the new event tool.
