When I upload a new list, are the current contacts in the list removed or are only the new contacts added?

Hello @AnnMarieA41 ,
When you import a list of contacts, if there's any contacts already in your account, then their contact fields (name, address, etc.) will be updated accordingly if there's new info being included as part of the import.
