Segment Smarter, Not Harder!

Did you know you can automatically group your contacts in Constant Contact based on how they interact with your emails? 🎯

Using a feature called click segmentation, you can organize contacts based on the exact links they click—and then follow up with content you know they're interested in. It’s a powerful way to personalize your marketing without doing the heavy lifting yourself.

How It Works

When you set up click segmentation, your readers are automatically added to a list of your choosing the moment they click a specific link. You can enable this feature for standard Web Page links, Documents, and even Landing Pages.

  • Add your link: Insert a text link, button, or clickable image into your email template.

  • Enable the feature: When adding your URL, simply check the "Enable click segmentation" box.

  • Choose your list: Select the specific contact list you want to add these engaged readers to from the drop-down menu.

Why You Should Use It

Let's say you offer three different services. You can feature a button for each service in a single email and assign a unique list to each button. When your readers click the button for the service they need, they essentially organize themselves! When you're ready, you can follow up with a highly targeted, relevant message to that specific segment.

👉 Try it next time you send an email—just assign a list to each clickable link!
