How to Adjust Your Notification Preferences on the Constant Contact Community
With the Constant Contact Community, staying informed is simple. This guide explains how to customize your notification preferences so you can stay connected on your own terms, whether you want immediate notifications for new replies and updates in your preferred spaces or fewer distractions.
🔔 Step 1: Access the Notification Settings
To start customizing your notifications:
Log in to the Constant Contact Community.
Click the notifications icon (bell icon) located in the top right-hand corner of the page.
From the dropdown that appears, select the Gear Icon for Notification Settings.
📬 Step 2: Customize Your Notifications
Notification Settings is separated into three categories: Browser notifications, Instant email notifications, and Manage notifications.
Browser notifications
Enable browser notifications if you like to be notified while using your preferred browsing experience. You’ll have to enable browser notifications to manage this.
Instant email notifications
Stay connected by receiving updates directly in your inbox. This is especially useful if you're not always signed in but wish to remain engaged. You'll be notified of direct messages, mentions in posts, and updates to any posts or spaces you follow.
Use the toggles next to each trigger type to turn email notifications on or off.
Manage notifications
You can customize notification settings for the Spaces (e.g., Ask the Community, Product Ideas, or a specific group), Posts, or Members that you follow. To manage notifications, locate the desired Space, Post, or Member and click the bell icon to toggle notifications on or off.
You must be a member of a space to manage or receive notifications from it.
