Hello,
I'm a new CC user and am trying to embed a video hosted on YouTube. I am able to insert the video using the video block. But, when the video is sent and the user clicks the play button, it takes them to the YouTube page. This occurs in Outlook and Gmail.
How do I get the video to play within the newsletter?

Since embedding isn't consistent or fully available across all email programs, especially mobile devices, videos can't be embedded. The video block functions like a specialized image block, that pulls thumbnail info from the host site, and applies a play button overlay. Regardless of how a video link is included in your emails and landing pages, it will always redirect from emails to the host site.
