Gone are the days of 30 Hashtags for your Instagram posts, which of course means you had to keep careful track of your huge set of 30ish-each "Hashtag clusters" so that they are nearby or onhand in the cloud for easy copy and paste every time you need to post with a focus on a theme or topic. (btw: love the Hashtag Lists feature in Constant Contact's Social Media Dashboard for that reason)
Things have changed a lot on Instagram in recent years, so why does that include hashtags? Not surprisingly, AI is one of the major factors.
They are not as important as they once were for content discover, with AI algorithms now playing a much bigger part in showing the most relevant content to users.
