Why Your Email and Social Media Should Be Best Friends

I see this all the time with my clients. They're posting great content on social media and sending solid emails, but treating them as if they live in completely separate universes. And honestly? It's making everything harder than it needs to be.

Here's the thing: your social content disappears in 24 hours (maybe less with the algorithm). Your email sits in someone's inbox and can be opened whenever they're ready. When you use them together, you're not working twice as hard. You're working smarter.

What does integration actually look like?

  • Tease your email content on social. "Just sent my subscribers a guide on how to automate their welcome series. Not on my list yet? Link in bio."

  • Repurpose your best-performing email into social posts. That tip that got a ton of replies in your newsletter? Turn it into a carousel or a quick video.

  • Use social to grow your list with lead magnets or exclusive content offers. Give people a reason to sign up beyond "join my newsletter."

I had a client who started promoting their monthly email tips on Instagram Stories. Their list grew by 10% in two months, and people who signed up through social media were way more engaged because they already knew what to expect.

So here's my question for you: How are you connecting your email and social strategies? Or are they living in separate worlds right now? Drop a comment and let's talk about it.
