Ability to create recurring event for webinars and classes, Ability to have multiple dates for one event
We have webinars and in-person events that happen monthly, but the way the system is set up, the events populate everyday on attendees calendars as Jan 1-Dec 31 if they use the calendaring widget. I currently utilize the ticketing option, but attendees are supposed to attend each one. It would be very helpful if the Start and End dates could have a "multiple dates" option where multiple dates can be entered upon set up. That way it also shows correctly on my CC calendar. Acknowledged1List membership view
Hello! I would like to see the List membership view of a contact in alpha order. =) Thank you! 0- Enable saving a template with no subject line
Please make it possible for me to save a template with a blank subject line! While you're at it, I find the place where you edit the subject line to be very easy to miss. Almost always, I go to my template to draft our regular email, send a test, and then and only then do I realize that it has the wrong subject line. If I fail to send myself a test before sending an email, I could end up with a very embarrassing email send. This problem could be easily solved if my saved template was allowed to have a blank subject line, which would cause an error and force me to update prior to sending. As it is, I have to default to making my template subject line something stupid like CHANGE THE SUBJECT LINE so hopefully I will catch it. No Action1 Folder Organization
Hello! I am the main email marketer for my company. I absolutely love the 'save section' feature your team recently introduced. My main issue is that I write so many different emails from events to newsletters - I would love a folder system in the 'save section' feature. For example, for my purposes, my folders would be labeled 'newsletter', 'drip campaign', 'ad preview' - with different individual assets in each. Thank you, 0My Library - Additional File Types Supported For Images
I often deal with image files in AVIF and WEBP formats. But Constant Contact's uploader doesn't accept them yet. Each time I want to include one of these images, I have to pause and convert it to JPG or PNG with another tool before uploading. These formats are now standard on modern websites and in design tools and stock image sources, so I encounter them all the time. The lack of support means I have to do extra steps which slows down almost every campaign I build. Acknowledged1NOT in the last X days
Being able to use "in the last" "last X days" for segments is great, but I'd also like to have the reverse - as in, "not in the last X days." For example - in my nonprofit, we sometimes send emails to those who have not given in the past 30 days. I can build a segment that shows me everyone whose custom field "latest gift date" is in the last 30 days, and that will update dynamically. But I can't build a dynamically updating segment for those whose "latest gift date" is not in the last 30 days. My current workaround is to include those whose "latest gift date" is before a single specific date. That means I have to update the specific date for each send using that segment, which means I'm not really getting to use dynamic content. That sort of defeats the purpose of segments, doesn't it? I'm experimenting with using an automation to tag folks as "recent donors" so that I can build segments by excluding that tag, but it's not ideal or as easy as "not in the last X days" would be. 0A/B Test Option Based On Email Content
A/B testing is one of the most important marketing tool. Being able to see what content your audience reacts better to is one of the best way to better your campaign. I was really surprised to see that Constant Contact basically has no A/B testing feature beside testing the subject line, which is simply not enough to properly assess what works or not. This is even more surprising since A/B testing is one of the advertised feature of Constant Contact, but reading the fine print you finally realize that you can only A/B test subject line. What I suggest is the ability to create 2 or more emails with different content and subject line, and send email A to a specific percentage of a list or segment and email B to the rest of the list or segment. A report comparing the performance of both emails can then be viewed to see which email performed best. This feature is a common base features on all email marketing platform I used in the past. A competitor has an incredible A/B testing system, but I don't expect CC to be able to meet this level of details. Just being able to A/B test 2 emails with different content would be a game changer, and is a feature that is so integral to the marketing workflow, it's really surprising it's not implemented yet. Acknowledged1Un-AI button for Read More posts
The Read More feature often doesn't work out. Create an Un-AI button that would quickly convert the content to an article layout while preserving the headline, text, link and image. 0
