I'd like to know what date/time a contact removed from a specific contact list. On a Contact List, we want to exclude people that are not interesting in receiving email so we can just remove them on UI. However, I can't find anywhere that records the event when a contact gets removed from a list as well as in the API endpoints. It would be so much easier to keep track who was on the list if this can be implemented/found somewhere in the API. Thank you in advance.

Hello user6365,

Thank you for reaching out to Constant Contact API Developer Support. My team is here to assist outside software developers with questions about building into Constant Contact's API.

We don’t currently have a field available in our API endpoints that displays when a contact was removed from a specific list, as well as the name/ID of that list. The closest we currently have to this type of field would be the “updated_at” field in the /contacts endpoint, which is updated whenever a change is made to a contact profile, including list membership updates. This likely wouldn’t suit your use case as the “updated_at” field doesn’t specify the update type.

I have tracked your account on an open feature request for list membership update information to be displayed in a contact’s engagement history in the website UI. I'm also opening a feature request for this functionality to be added to the API. Your feedback and experience with this request is essential to improving our product, so thank you for reaching out to us regarding this matter.

Please let us know if you have any other questions!
