Option to expand to read full article in email newsletter

We often have a few lengthy sub articles in our newsletters.  It would be nice to have an option to "expand" the article as opposed to requiring readers to redirect to a landing page with the full article.  Redirecting to a landing page then also requires them to have to forward through those first few sentences they already read in the initial email newsletter.  Analytics on who expanding to read full article would be great too.
