Can emails re-subscribe when they submit through my sign-up form?

I have been working with an old list that predates my employment. There are many emails that are unsubcribed or suspended but when I talk to the people in-person, they don't realize it and want to get our emails. If they sign up through our website signup form, will their emails be re-subscribed even if previously suspended or unsubscribed?

Yes, resubscribing through sign-up forms is one of the three available paths for resubscribing contacts. It can be a landing page, integrated form, coded form, or a form built wholly outside your account—as long as it directly connects back to your Constant Contact account for syncing contact info, then them submitting their contact info will resubscribe them.
