Change the background color of an individual block in an email

I can change the color of a block of text for the first 3 blocks. Then all blocks are connected and won't be changed to individual colors. What have I done in creating the blocks?

Hi @BayUMC ,

I apologize for the confusion! The blocks are likely "nested", meaning that there is a group of blocks that are connected together. This feature was implemented to make it easier to move many blocks around at the same time, or as you were running into, changing the background color of many blocks at the same time.

This guide should give you more information on connecting, and disconnecting those blocks, so that you are able to edit them however you please.
