Paul Murray is an international master fine artist, author, producer, and live-performance artist whose work preserves the spirit, dignity, and wisdom of people living close to disappearing pioneer traditions in rural Canada and the Southern Appalachian Mountains. Working primarily in pencil, oil, and classical techniques rooted in Dutch and Flemish masters, Murray creates emotionally exacting portraits that go beyond likeness to reveal lived experience and inner truth.

A professional artist since his early teens, Murray has exhibited in over 100 galleries and select museums internationally, with most limited editions and originals consistently selling out. His award-winning book Mirrored Souls and related documentary brought early international attention to his work, which has since been featured in print, television, and public exhibitions across North America and abroad.

Murray’s art has helped raise over $1.5 million for charities, and his practice continues to evolve through exhibitions, masterclasses, and the interdisciplinary live-art series Music ’n Arts Collide.
