Sock Puppet City has been growing as a brand for nearly twenty years, offering the imagination of Brooklyn-based artist Marty Allen to thousands of families and fun folks from across the world.  In 2020, Sock Puppet City added Leigh Walter to the team as director, co-producer,  and business manager.

Over the years Marty created and sold hundreds of different Sock Puppet Portraits to thousands of people from across the world. All of the Sock Puppet Portraits have names and stories. Some have songs, others star in videos, many are tied to bands, it goes deep.

Somewhere along the way Marty relented to public pressure and started making and selling the real sock puppets puppets, too.
