Trust in Education (TIE) is a grass roots 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that has been providing humanitarian aid to Afghan families, children and villages since 2003. We've funded the construction of two schools, currently support ten computer libraries, have six midwife training classes, each with fifteen students, provide vocational training classes, given direct financial aid to one hundred sixty families and provide capital for families who want to start or buy a business. TIE has an office in Kabul, two program directors and fifteen Afghans in Afghanistan on its payroll. It is also licensed by and reports to the Taliban government. Pictured below are a few of the people TIE has helped educate, support, and become self-reliant.
