We set up an automated email using the "Contact Joins a List". Our expectation is that whenever a new contact is added to that list, they will receive an automated message welcoming them to the list. We also set up a contact form on our website. It seems that the only time the automated email is generated is when they are added via the contact form. If the new contacts are added manually (list uploads), they don't seem to be receiving the automated message.
Is this the expected function? And if it is, is there a way to send an automated message anytime someone joins the list, whether through the contact form or a manual add? Our plan is: Email Plus.
