Forward My Authenticated ccsend.com Email

We are a non profit trying to save every dollar. We want to use the email address CC created for us as our default from and reply to. I assumed emails to that address would get forwarded to our admin email, but no. e.g.:

@<domain>.ccsend.com

goes nowhere. What are these email addresses for?

Thanks

I completely understand the confusion here BLEpiscopal — it definitely looks like those ccsend.com addresses would behave like regular inboxes, and as a nonprofit watching every dollar, it makes sense you’d want to streamline replies without extra steps. 💙

The short answer is that the ccsend.com “From” address isn’t an actual inbox, so there’s nothing to forward from it. Those addresses are part of Constant Contact’s authenticated sending system — essentially a “wrapper” that helps your messages reach inboxes when you haven’t set up authentication for your own domain.

The place where replies really land is determined by your Reply-To address. If you want messages to go straight to your admin inbox, you’ll want to set that address as your default Reply-To (and verify it in your account settings). That way, any replies to your campaigns will bypass the ccsend.com address and go right where you need them.

So, in short:

  • ccsend.com = sending identity only (not a mailbox).

  • Reply-To = where your contacts’ replies go (you can set this to your admin email).

Once you update the Reply-To setting, you should be all set. You can learn a little more about it here.
