We're happy to announce that on top of emails, events, landing pages, and workflows, Assistant now works with text messages (SMS).
SMS capabilities:
Draft a new text message
Schedule or reschedule the message
Preview the message before it goes out
Check reporting: sends, deliveries, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes.
Pull up a list of texts you've created or sent
Don't have SMS yet? The Assistant can still draft and save texts for you. Scheduling and sending need the SMS add-on and an approved registration. (How to add SMS)Heads-up: scheduling SMS through the Assistant is desktop-only for now. In the iOS app it can write your text, but you'll finish scheduling on desktop. Using the Assistant
Contacts and segments
You can now ask the assistant:
"How many contacts are in my Volunteers segment?"
"Show me contacts tagged newsletter who were added this month"
"Build a segment of contacts who opened more than five emails in the last 90 days"
It can also update an existing segment, tell you how big a new segment will be before creating it, and clean up old test segments. It'll ask you to confirm before deleting anything.
See a preview of all this in the video above.
3 minutes, 3 prompts
"Who are my most engaged contacts from the last 90 days?"
"Turn that into a segment called VIPs."
"Draft a short text thanking my VIPs and giving them early access to my next sale or event."
