A/B testing is one of the most important marketing tool. Being able to see what content your audience reacts better to is one of the best way to better your campaign.
I was really surprised to see that Constant Contact basically has no A/B testing feature beside testing the subject line, which is simply not enough to properly assess what works or not. This is even more surprising since A/B testing is one of the advertised feature of Constant Contact, but reading the fine print you finally realize that you can only A/B test subject line.
What I suggest is the ability to create 2 or more emails with different content and subject line, and send email A to a specific percentage of a list or segment and email B to the rest of the list or segment. A report comparing the performance of both emails can then be viewed to see which email performed best.
This feature is a common base features on all email marketing platform I used in the past. A competitor has an incredible A/B testing system, but I don't expect CC to be able to meet this level of details. Just being able to A/B test 2 emails with different content would be a game changer, and is a feature that is so integral to the marketing workflow, it's really surprising it's not implemented yet.
