Allow special characters in Organization Name

1) Tried completing the 'Org Details' section but an error message popped up advising to correct the issue - however, there was nothing highlighted to let us know what needed to be changed? We had to engage with support, and the process took a good 20 minutes to solve. Turns out your 'Additional Info' line does not like BULLETS, but this we found out on our own. Pretty frustrating, time-consuming process, for a standard block of company info.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for sharing your experience. We completely understand how frustrating it is to spend 20 minutes trying to save a standard block of company information just because an error message didn't clearly highlight which field needed to be fixed!

While we have passed your specific feedback regarding the unhelpful error message along to our UI design team, we want to explain why the Organization Details block rejects special characters like bullet points in the first place.

The Reason: The CAN-SPAM Footer and Deliverability The information you enter into your Organization Details (including your Org Name and Additional Info) isn't just for our internal billing records—it automatically populates the physical address footer at the bottom of every single email you send. This footer is a strict legal requirement under the CAN-SPAM Act, ensuring your recipients know exactly who the email is coming from.

Because this footer is automatically injected into the code of your campaigns, allowing non-standard special characters (like bullets, symbols, or emojis) in these fields can break the footer's HTML rendering or cause your emails to be heavily penalized by spam filters in major inboxes like Outlook or Gmail.

The Best Practice Solution: To ensure your emails render perfectly and safely reach your customers' inboxes, please only use standard alphanumeric characters, commas, and hyphens in your Organization Details. If you need to separate items in the "Additional Info" line, we highly recommend using a simple dash (-) or a comma instead of a bullet point!

We are keeping this idea marked as Acknowledged so our development teams can track the feedback regarding the form's error message UI. Thank you again for helping us improve the platform!
