Please add the HEADER color back to the DESIGN tab. It is a HUGE time sucker to re-color each header for each email. Can't understand why it would have been removed. Thanks!
Design Section Header and Feature Layout background colors separately
Hi everyone,
Thank you for your feedback! We completely understand how frustrating it can be to manually re-color the background of every single section header you drag into your campaign, especially when you are trying to keep your branding consistent and save time.
While separating the global Design tab settings for "Section Headers" and "Feature Layouts" remains Acknowledged and under consideration by our development team, we have introduced a new feature that completely eliminates the need to manually re-color your blocks!
The Modern Workaround: Saved Content Blocks Instead of relying on the global Design tab to color the standard builder blocks, you can create your own custom, pre-branded blocks!
If you want all your Section Headers to have a specific blue background with white text, you only have to build it once:
Drag a standard Section Header block into your email.
Edit the background color and font exactly how you want it.
Click the gear icon on the block and select Save (or the floppy disk icon).
Name it something like "Blue Section Header".
Now, whenever you are building a new email, you don't use the standard header block. You just click on the Saved tab in your left-hand menu and drag your custom "Blue Section Header" right into the template! It will instantly appear with your specific background color already applied.
We are keeping this idea marked as Acknowledged so our product teams can continue to gauge the demand for splitting the global design settings. Thank you again for helping us improve the editor experience!
