Hi everyone,

Thank you for your feedback!

Because this thread touches on a few different ways to handle event admission, we want to break down exactly what tools are available right now to make your event day easier, and what is still in the works!

1. The specific request to automatically email unique QR-code "tickets" to registrants that can be physically scanned with a camera at the door remains Acknowledged and under consideration by our Events product team. Building a native ticketing and scanning pipeline is a major structural request we are tracking closely.

2. You don't need a QR scanner to get people through the door digitally! While our dedicated mobile app is currently optimized for email and social campaigns, the Constant Contact website is fully mobile-responsive. You can easily use your smartphone or a tablet as a digital check-in kiosk:

  • Open a web browser (like Safari or Chrome) on your phone/tablet and log in to Constant Contact.

  • Navigate to your Events dashboard and tap on your active event.

  • Tap the Reporting tab, then tap on the number of Registrants to open your live guest list.

  • As attendees walk up, you can use the search bar to find their name. Tap the three dots (...) next to their name and select Check in all (or checkmark specific tickets and select Actions > Check in ticket).

This automatically syncs with your desktop reporting dashboard so you know exactly who showed up!

3. Printing a Physical Roster (Available Now!) If you have volunteers working the door who prefer physical paper, you can easily generate a clean, printable roster from your desktop:

  1. Navigate to your Event's dashboard and click on the Reporting tab.

  2. Click on the number of Registrants to view your full attendee list.

  3. Click the Export button in the top right corner to download the list as an Excel/CSV file.

  4. You can quickly hide or delete any unnecessary columns (like payment info) and print this clean spreadsheet for your door staff!

We are keeping this thread marked as Acknowledged so our engineering team can continue to track the demand for building native QR-scanning capabilities in the future. Thank you again for helping us improve the platform!
