[Events 2.0] Include offline payment options

Thank you for your candid feedback.

While adding a native, dedicated "Pay Offline" button and tracking ledger back into the checkout flow remains Acknowledged and a high priority for our Events product team, we want to provide some transparency on this change and offer two workflows you can use right now to bypass the digital checkout!

Workaround: If you want to offer your attendees the choice between paying by credit card online OR paying by check later, the best method is to use a Promo Code to bypass the mandatory digital checkout screen.

1. Connect your digital payment processor (Stripe/PayPal) as normal.

2. Create a Promo Code for 100% off and name it something like PAYBYCHECK or PAYATDOOR.

3. In your Event Description, clearly write: "If you are paying by check/PO, please enter the promo code PAYBYCHECK at checkout. This will bypass the credit card screen. Please mail your check to [Your Address]."

4. The attendee gets registered, you don't pay any digital processing fees on that ticket, and you can manually collect the funds!

Workaround 2: The "Free Event" Method (For Checks/Cash ONLY) If you do not want to collect any digital payments at all, you do not need to connect PayPal or Stripe!

1. Set up your event without a payment processor.

2. Create your tickets as "Free" tickets, but name them explicitly with the price (e.g., "General Admission - Pay $50 at the Door").

3. Use the Event Description to explicitly state that the event is not free, but that all payments will be collected in person on the day of the event.
