I often deal with image files in AVIF and WEBP formats. But Constant Contact's uploader doesn't accept them yet. Each time I want to include one of these images, I have to pause and convert it to JPG or PNG with another tool before uploading. These formats are now standard on modern websites and in design tools and stock image sources, so I encounter them all the time. The lack of support means I have to do extra steps which slows down almost every campaign I build.
My Library - Additional File Types Supported For Images
Adding built-in support for AVIF and WEBP would eliminate a common snag in my workflow. Right now I waste time converting files for emails and landing pages before design even begins, which slows down my business. Directly supporting these formats would let me upload images without changes, create campaigns faster, and keep everything in Constant Contact instead of using various conversion tools. AVIF and WEBP offer better compression than JPG and PNG and bring smaller file sizes and quicker-loading emails and a better experience for subscribers.
