New Platform March 2026

There’s a principle in software design: beyond a certain point, adding more features doesn’t increase value—it reduces it.

The new Constant Contact platform feels like a clear example of this. In what was likely an effort to unify tools, modernize the interface, and introduce AI-driven capabilities, the result has been a step backward in usability.

Where the product once emphasized efficiency and clarity, it now leans toward feature exposure at the expense of the user experience. Navigation is less reliable, workflows feel less intuitive, and predictable patterns that users depended on have been disrupted—especially for long-time users who had established ways of working productively within the platform.

This feedback is offered in the spirit of improvement. Constant Contact built a strong, effective product, and it’s frustrating to see that foundation weakened. I hope this perspective is taken as intended: an honest assessment and a genuine request to restore the usability and simplicity that made the platform work so well.
