I love browsing the Constant Contact Small Marketplace! When I'm traveling, I look up businesses in the state/province that I'm traveling to so that I can support fellow entrepreneurs.
I also love it for shopping online (Pro-tip: Don't forget to include in your description how we can patronize your business whether in person or online. Make it easy for the consumer!)
One of the organizations that I recently found in my Massachusetts search was the non profit organization "More Than Words". They have both in-store and online shopping and 100% of the proceeds benefit their mission to support youth 16-24 who are in foster-care, experiencing homelessness, out-of-school, or in the court system to create job opportunities while also providing support. I'm definitely going to use them for some gift-giving this year!
