Connect your Constant Contact account with Zoho

Who doesn’t love saving time, especially when it comes to marketing your business? Our integration with Zoho allows you to auto-sync contact and lead data into Constant Contact. Not only does this save you manual entry time, but it also ensures your lists are always up-to-date for highly targeted messaging.

There are three primary methods available for import:

  • Contacts List: Import your standard contact lists from Zoho.

  • Leads List: Keep your new prospects flowing in automatically.

  • Campaign List: Sync contacts and leads directly from your Zoho campaigns.

How to Connect to Zoho

Linking your accounts is a straightforward process through your dashboard:

  1. Locate the Integration: Click Integrations on the left-hand sidebar. Under the All Integrations tab, search for "Zoho" and click on the block, then click Connect.

  2. Authenticate: Enter your Zoho credentials and click Accept to allow Constant Contact to access your data.

  3. Manage Field Mapping: This is a crucial step! You can now manually choose which Zoho fields align with your Constant Contact fields. Click Add new field to map custom data (like "Last Purchase Date") to ensure your custom fields are accurate.

  4. Set Your Frequency: Unlike older versions, you can now select the frequency for how often you want Constant Contact to check Zoho for updates (e.g., daily or weekly).

  5. Choose Your Import Logic: * Merge: This adds new contacts and updates existing ones without removing anyone from your list.

    • Overwrite: This fully replaces your Constant Contact list membership with the current Zoho list. Note: Overwrite affects list membership, but individual contact data (like birthdays) will still merge and be preserved.

  6. Review and Sync: Give your import a name and click Import. The status will show as In Process and update to Success once finished.

Boost Your Marketing

Once your Zoho contacts are successfully syncing, move beyond general blasts and start sending content that actually converts!

Advanced Segmentation

Don't just email everyone! Use your synced data to create a custom segment. For example, you can target "Leads" from Zoho who haven't opened an email in 30 days with a high-value re-engagement offer.

Personalized Automation & AI

Use the synced data to trigger automated journeys via email and SMS. You can even use the AI Content Generator to quickly draft messages for:

  • Welcome Series: For new leads added to Zoho.

  • Review Requests: Sent automatically after a Zoho "Deal" is marked as closed/won.

💡 Troubleshooting Tip: If you see "odd characters" (like ) or sync errors, it’s often due to non-printable characters or invalid symbols like < > in your Zoho fields. Ensure your data is clean before starting the sync!
