Update Names on Tickets

My question is about updating the names of the additional ticket holders. They are all with one company under the same registration but we wish to have each booth attendee's name printed on their ticket and badge. When the form was set up, the option to collect info on the ticket holders was not checked, realised this after registration is complete (after reading this https://knowledgebase.constantcontact.com/email-digital-marketing/articles/KnowledgeBase/5563-allow-...) Now I want to edit several of the registrations to add in the first and last names of the attendees plus their email address. How can I get assistance to update this information?

Hello @bfs ,

You can edit ticket info. When you're setting up your event's tickets, guests should be set up as separate tickets that your main registrant can enter info for. Then, whatever information you've set on the form to be collected from your Each Attendee ticket type selections, will be available for the registrant / guest to fill in. You can edit that info in, even if the fields weren't originally available when you initially made the form available for people to register to.

At this time, only the option to allow the main registrant to join a list automatically if they explicitly opt into it is available. Since guests cannot be guaranteed to have explicitly selected to opt into future mailings, as it's the main registrant adding those guests and their info (including email), this is not currently an option. If you must collect guests' email addresses for the sake of adding to your contacts, then I'd advise having them register themselves so you (and we) can have records that they explicitly wanted to sign up for emails from you, that aren't explicitly related to the event they're registering for.

Hello @bfs ,

You can update some info for registrants of a legacy event, but you can't edit guest information in a legacy event.

Hi William, thanks for the response. What do you mean when you say "legacy"? We chose the BETA option but still seem to have contraints.

We do not need 4 tickets with the same name. Even if the box was not checked in the form set up to properly capture the guests' info, it does not make sense that the ability to edit moving foward would be so limited. Also, we have no way to add in the guests' email addresses unless we manually create a new list. We need more flexibility in this regard because now time must be spent on a workaround.
