I just signed up for SMS marketing, and created a landing page. I want to add the SMS checkbox to my current newsletter signup pop up form, but I can't figure out how. I've searched high and low but only see the option to copy a link to the landing page. NOT what I'm looking for! I want my pop up form to look like the landing page I created.

Thank you for your ongoing feedback! Because SMS marketing is heavily regulated by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), collecting a phone number requires very strict, unambiguous consent language (e.g., "By checking this box, you agree to receive automated promotional messages..."). Fitting this dense legal language, along with the required privacy policy links, into a small, floating website pop-up without ruining the design or user experience is a challenge we are actively working to solve.
To collect SMS legally , the best method is to use a dedicated Sign-Up Landing Page, which natively supports both Email and SMS collection with all the compliance text automatically built-in.
You can still use your website Pop-up to drive traffic to this form!
Create a Sign-Up Landing Page and enable both the Email and SMS Phone Number fields.
Copy the unique URL for that landing page.
Build a standard Pop-up for your website. Instead of having the email input fields directly on the pop-up, use the pop-up space for a strong Call to Action (e.g., "Want 15% off your next order? Click here to sign up for our Email and Text alerts!").
Add a button to the Pop-up that links directly to your Sign-Up Landing Page URL.
When visitors click the pop-up button, they are taken to your secure, fully compliant landing page where they can comfortably opt into both channels at once!
