Email - Ability to add background image to individual blocks

I have several clients that are using another email platform because they like the templates/layouts that are offered.  They appear much more "modern" than what CTCT offers.  This is just one example... where you can have a block with an image, and then text that overlaps it.  I don't see this in available in CTCT but perhaps it's something that could be added in the future.
