Contact Form 7 Integration with SSO - "State provided in redirect does not match expected value"

Hi,

I am trying to integrate contact form 7 with Constant contact. This has worked before, but ever since we introduced miniOrange SSO (single sign on) to our websites. It has caused the integration to fail. It "connects" but it wont take in any data into CC.

I know what is happening though. The redirect URI is failing because "https://www.oursite.com/wp-admin/?auth=constant_contact" is being redirected before it can make the intended redirect auth. The sso plugin is set to redirect anyone who tries to access "https://www.oursite.com/wp-admin/".

How am I able to to change the redirect URI so it works with our SSO plugin?

Hello SVLInc,

Thank you for reaching out to Constant Contact API Developer Support. My team is here to assist outside software developers with questions about building into Constant Contact's API.

Please note that Contact Form 7 is a 3rd party product and not built or supported by Constant Contact, so we are limited in the support we can provide, but will try to answer any questions to the best of our ability as they pertain to Constant Contact’s API endpoints and functionality.

Based on Contact Form 7’s documentation on their 3rd party integration with Constant Contact, it looks like the “https://www.example.com/wp-admin/?auth=constant_contact” format for the redirect URI is required. If this redirect URI can’t be accessed directly due to SSO, you may want to check with Contact Form 7 to see if an alternative Redirect URI which doesn’t require SSO on your end can be used. You could also check with miniOrange to see if they have a way to bypass the redirect.

Alternatively, since authorization for the integration should only need to be granted once, you could potentially look into disabling the SSO redirect just for the period of time you need to authorize the integration, at which point the integration would utilize refresh tokens to maintain access to your Constant Contact account.

If you continue to have issues, you'll need to  reach out to Contact Form 7's support team for further assistance with their software:
