Enable click segmentation on Read More and Video blocks

0 Votes

Hi,

We really like the ease of the Read More and the Video blocks in adding informational content into our emails. However, we would really like to segment people who click them into our "Blog Readers" and "Self Care Video Watchers" contact lists so that we can send them additional related content. The only way to do this would be adding the links to the blogs or videos by hand which defeats the ease of using the Read More or Video blocks. Please fix this so that we can segment those clicks

We're updating the status of this idea to more accurately reflect its current status with our engineering team and also made slight changes to the subject line in order for it to be more easily found. We can't guarantee a commitment to deliver on this feature request regarding click segmentation with Action Blocks but it should indicate some awareness that we have heard your feedback and could be taken under consideration for a future release.

Yes Please! I just spent a bunch of time trying to figure this out and was really surprised that it was not a feature. Segmenting based on the stories people click on feels like an obvious choice. We just set up a new article system on our website and I have been planning to use the read more blocks with articles on our various key topics as our primary tool to better segment our lists. Is there a decent workaround to create this same result that we can use while this is being considered? Thanks, Brian

Hi @TallTimbers01

At this time there is not a workaround we can recommend for this feature request. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will reach out to this thread with any further updates that may come along.
