In Legacy events there was an option to send the organizer an email when someone registers for the event. I'm not seeing that option in Events 2.0 - can that option be added back??? Thank you!

Can we please update the Twitter logos in the "social follow" templates? When I send out emails to subscribers, I don't want messages to look outdated because my email service has not updated this template yet. The change in name and logo occurred over a week ago.

There should be a way to export the complete registration data from the Events platform. The current method of copying the data from the screen and pasting into a spreadsheet is STUPID and far below what I have come to expect from Constant Contact. When I create the event, all registration data should be stored in a contact list that captures ALL registration information from the registration page.

Hey there! It would be great to have an efficient way to create exclusion lists. The tag system is a cumbersome process to go through when the goal is to simply send an email to List A, but exclude anyone who is also on List B. If a checkbox-to-exclude feature became a reality, you'd have a lot of happy customers! (I did search the "Constant Contact Community" when trying to find out how to exclude a list BTW.) I didn't necessarily want to post this particular message to the entire "community" but I couldn't find a way to just email my exclusion list request to your developers. Thanks, Kim

We are very unhappy about the MFA policy. We are a ski club, and we have more than 10 coaches that send out emails to their respective teams. We don't understand how we can continue to use Constant Contact for communication if our coaches can't sign in to write their emails. We don't all share a common office, so trying to share MFA details between people, with a shared login seems nearly impossible now. (And FYI, a little more notice would have been good. Now I'm scrambling to set up enough accounts so that coaches can communicate in the next few days.)

I wish there was an option to put a border around an entire email to frame it. I want the inner background and outer background colors to be the same (in this case both white) but would like some separation between the two and being able to add a frame or border around the entire email would help break it up. I do not want to use a background pattern or background color other than white. This seems like a very basic design element to provide.

With this day and age, I would think that most people check their emails from their mobile phone. Your system does not allow to add a href for a phone number example: (333) 444-5555 I get an invalid url error and it will not let me save my changes. Please let me know if you update your system in the future. Thank you!

What were you thinking? I feel ripped off. I did my first survey in Fall 2020 and a follow up this April. I had to print the screen to get a report comparable to the report I had last Fall. What junk!

Events 2.0 Beta lacks the ability to change the Payment Status or the number of tickets or items. Scenario: Registrant selects two of three available tickets and payment by check. After registration, the registrant wishes to purchase the third ticket and sends a check for three tickets. Event administration receives the check and cannot change the Payment Status from Pending to Paid or add the third ticket to the registration.

We had a thread about adding tables to third generation emails but a moderator closed it saying now that we can use 5 columns that should solve the problem. Guess what, it does not come close to solving the problem. There is no way to line up text except tables. adding columns does not work because the columns will not always display side by side.

Hello, I am incredibly impressed with the level of service I have received form Constant Contact and tell folks all the time it is the best company I have ever worked with. However, that being said there is something I need or else I will be looking elsewhere for service(I HATE SAYING THAT). You need to include a column in the reports section that we can export. We need to be able to see the engagement level of our customers so we can order them from greatest to lease and vice versa. From a sales perspective this is a must. I can remove hundreds from my list that have never opened an e-mail or I can call the folks in person that have opened everything I have sent. Without this ability I am missing HUGE opportunities to know who is hot and who is cold. Please do this ASAP, I have been asking for 6 months and have seen nothing yet. I DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE CONSTANT CONTACT! Please!!

Good afternoon We give in person courses. If I setup a ticket for the full price, and I create a ticket for an "early registration" fee, which gives them a discount for signing up early, each ticket has a max tickets sold amount. Is there a way to make a max tickets sold for the event? The old platform had a Max registrations for the event. The new platform does not seem to have it. If it does not have it, any suggestions on how to make a max attendance so the event does not allow any more registrations so we do not go over the amount we can allow to sign up? Also, by setting up two separate tickets, the new platform shows both tickets available on check out. The old system showed the discounted price only until the date expired and than it showed the full price. Having both available does not make sense and is confusing.

Is there a way to extend the survey expiration date past six months? According to documentation automatically close six months after the date it was published, unless you specified an earlier expiration date. What if we need a later date? We use this to collect data over a year time period and then copy and create a new survey for each year.

When you are comparing campaigns or reviewing results its very annoying having to go to campaigns, select the campaign you are reviewing and go to the same process when you want to open other campaign... it would be great if you could open the campaign in another window or tab

Please add more options for social media such as an RSS feed (blog) and Houzz (interior design specific). In addition, please "lock in" the social media icons per email campaign. For example, I create email campaign 1 and set up the social media icons. Then I create email campaign 2 with the social media icons linking to different social sites. As soon as I save the social media profile for email 2 it changes the social media links in email 1. This is VERY frustrating as we have 6 different brands that we send emails out for and we cannot use our email templates due to this issue. We tried to create our own social media icons by using images however, we cannot place more that two images side by side like we could in the old interface. Also, please put back the ability to add a table into the new user interface - you took away this feature! Having the ability to add a table would allow me a workaround to my first issue. UGH! Very frustrating - this is making us re-consider our decision to use Constant Contact for our email campaigns.

In Canva, there is a section to create a brand kit that collects color palettes and fonts and logos into one place. When you are designing, those become easily clickable buttons. Having a feature like this for creating emails would save a TON of time.

The functionality of the CTA buttons seems to be pretty limited. You cannot overlay an image on to the button, such as an arrow, and you cannot increase the size of the button without adding more text. In my opinion the CTA buttons should have the same functionality as the 'Divider'. It would be great to have that kind of control of the height and width of the button.

Text to Join needs to come back. I do a lot of networking and it's so easy to say to someone "pull out your phone, text hwallen to 22828 and type in your email address when prompted". It's also easy to say that once to a group of people and have them all sign up concurrently. From what I've experienced with QR codes, it needs to be printed (and passed around) or brought up on one phone so another can scan it (now two phones are needed instead of 1 and it's done one on one, not as a group). Once the QR code is launched then a form pops up and the person has to navigate from space to space to fill it out. Registering my attendance at church is where I've experienced the QR code to-form situation. I just write on the paper attendance pad because it's faster so I can get back to the service rather than tab, type, tab, type, tab, type, submit. If it takes too long, no one fills it out. With the removal of this feature, it makes email gathering so much more arduous and not productive. If you're trying to make things easier, you've gone the wrong way. Test it out. Ask a board room of people to join a list and see how long that takes using Text to Join v QR code. I'd like to see the results. If QR wins, then please tell me how to use it more efficiently.
