Tagging other accounts in posts rarely works, especially in LinkedIn and Facebook. After I publish my posts, I have to open them in the native applications and edit them to get the account tags to work properly. Also, I should be able to add posts to a campaign. For example, today I sent a series of posts to promote a news article. Next week, I plan to send "in case you missed it" posts to promote the same article. All of these posts should be part of the same campaign.
Here's a screenshot of the LinkedIn post I made that prompted my comment. You can see that I've tagged Truist bank and the law firm of Womble Bond Dickinson, who partnered with my organization on the project featured in the article. Tagging these organizations in Constant Contact didn't work. I had to publish the post, then edit it in LinkedIn to get the tags to work. I had to do the same thing for Facebook. Account tags in Twitter usually work, and I think they do in Instagram as well.
Thanks for following up with this example! At this time we can't guarantee a commitment to deliver on this idea but do want to indicate some awareness that we have heard your feedback and will be happy to continue collecting both requests along with use case examples on why a user would want this feature. We will reach back out to this thread when there are any further updates we can share. In the meantime, the workaround we suggest is to create or edit your post directly in your social account.
