Scenario/case: I work in a company with many brands, and use CTCT to engage customers with user research, not marketing. Each brand needs its own template, with a respective branding layout, and consistency delivers credibility. The case of reaching the templates without using a campaign would be for maintenance, changes, or setting up a new template. That's an important feature after all, and users must be able to find it from the navigation. As a product designer, information architecture is something I know, and my best guess (actually where I looked for templates) is under Library. So, aside from where to find the templates in the navigation components, it'd be helpful to have my own templates apart from the standard ones, which I do not use and are too many. So, having an upper section with my own templates, or, at least, the recently used ones, would be a solution. Still in this case of working with many brands, it's time-consuming to customize everything, every time in a standard template. So, something the templates miss is to save a specific sender's and reply-to email address, social media URLs, and everything in it. Once set up, it should save it for good: it's a template!
