Our open rates include recipients who never opened the actual email. For example, I am on the list and if I open my gmail on my phone or on my computer, it registers as though I opened the email and read it. This is in accurate and I have reported to Constant Contact with no real explanation other than some browsers open emails to scan for viruses. If this is the case, then their programming should account for this, should it not. I am really considering using another service my reports contain inaccurate data which is really good for nothing. Anyone else have this issue?
