Account Locked or Developer Over Rate

It seems that my account has reached some sort of rate.  I've tried to find a place where it shows me the rate limit and I only found it in one forum post from 2009.  Where a moderator stated the rate limit is 400 calls/sec, and 20 POST calls/sec.  I'm not sure how accurate that still is, but I would like to know why I got this message:

Constant Contact HTTP Request Exception:

Developer Over Rate

I am certainly not hitting that rate and if I am then there is something seriously wrong with my code.  Is there anyway for you to track how many API calls are being made?

Hi,

We just now increased our rate limit since making a change yesterday.  Please let us know if you see the Deverloper Over Rate error again!

We were receiving the Developer Over Rate error a bit earlier while trying to upload contacts, that response is no longer coming back, but the standard xml response isn't being received either, just a blank response on the same request that was receiving that response.

Our issue now appears solved, for anyone that might be in the same spot, the Headers being returned were slightly different with Mashery than before, and our Curl request failed because of it.

I am not seeing the issue as the other user, but it appears to be fixed for me.  This wasn't an accepted solution, beacuse if you increased the rate limit why did I get it in the first place?  I could see if you lowered it and I got that error.  Was there some other bug?  I'll keep an eye out and see if it keeps happening.

Hi - we are still seeing this message (Developer Over Rate) and not seeing any of the email lists in our application.  No code has changed on our end, and this only started happening in the last few days.  We are using v1 of the API.

Please advise ASAP!

Thanks.

Hi,

Could you tell me the last time you received the developer over limit error?  Was it this morning?

In response to the previous question, we are now routing our APi traffic through Mashery, so the rate limits got inadvertently lowered, and we corrected that and increased the rate limits yesterday.  If you are still seeing developer over errors since then, do let us know the time this occurred.  Thanks!
