Kind of surprised that there is no 0$ options for non-sending accounts to test integrations ?we can sandbox acount
My team is also interested in the ability to sandbox/stage our implementation before releasing to our production environment. Is there a way we can generate test API keys for this purpose? Can Constant Contact teams generate test API keys on our behalf? This would be extremely helpful.
Hello RandyN72,

Regarding developer accounts, please see my other reply on this post:

As far as generating API keys, you can do this either within your existing account, or within a developer account:
In the developer side of the website, keys can only be accessed by the user that generated them, and are not universal to the account. When they are generated, they do not have any access or privileges to any account, including the one that generated them. Access is only granted via the OAuth2 authorization process.

Hello user9818343,

We don't have dedicated developer/sandbox accounts per se, but you are able to create a free developer trial account with limited sending capabilities which you can use for your testing purposes. Trial accounts created through the developer portal do not expire, whereas standard trial accounts created through the main site expire after 60 days if not converted to a paid account. Below is a link to our developer portal where you can sign up for a trial account, you'll just need to click on "Get Started" and then "Sign up".

If you are going to be developing an integration that will be used by a large number of end-users you can look into becoming a Technology Partner where you are provided a free account as part of the partnership.
