All seems well, the account is connected, the form works, I get an email saying the email is sent, but nothing in the contact list.
I am able to create new lists from within the WordPress plugin panel, so the connection is fine.

No issue with opt-in selection. Have tried with and without.

Wp Cron is not selected. I did download the Cron checker, but can not see a way to have I check? nothing there per the screen shots.
Initially there was an error notice advising me to turn on error log tracking, nothing in the log.
At a loss

Hello,

My name is Caleb and I am a member of Constant Contact's API Developer Support Team.

Based on the description it sounds like you are utilizing our WordPress Sign Up Form Plugin and are finding that the contacts are not being added from the form into your account. This form by default is configured to have a slight delay when a contact signs up before passing the information over to your Constant Contact account, however we have found that this delay can occasionally prevent a contact from being added.

By reviewing our database logs I was able to find the example contact 'paolabianca.mangubat@gmail.com' which was added using this sign up form. It appears that while the contact had used the form on September 12th that they were not added into the account until September 13th at 5:04 am. This delay was caused by the form itself, however there is a setting within the form that can be used to send the contact's information over more quickly. To do this you will want to do the following:

- Navigate into your WordPress Dashboard.
- Select the Contact Form Plugin.
- Navigate to the settings of the plugin
- Check the box next to 'Bypass Constant Contact Cron Scheduling'
- Save the changes at the bottom

Once this setting has been enabled you should find that your contacts are being sent over more immediately. If for any reason this change does not resolve the issue or in case you have further questions regarding this we have gone ahead and escalated this issue to our specialists which will be following up with you via the email on file with your account.

Ok. I've tried that solution already, and now reverted to that setting. It had been 8 hours since I tried to sign up and nothing.

In my book, any more of a delay than a few minutes is not really acceptable.
Surely there's a better solution than this.
I was looking for a plan HTML solution I can use in a code block in word press, si there something like that available? Or access to the code snippet for the landing page sign-form?
Still in need of a solution and look forward to your additional direction.

Further to the above, I deleted the old form and created a new form, left the by-pass Cron selected and that seemed to work. But I have no idea why.
What is the risk of bypass in the Cron function? It must be there for a reason?
Also, seems that Constant contact has added an extra field ID'd by my IP, it adds an extra field stating, "Constant Contact Use. Please leave this field blank." What's this about and how can I git rid of it?
