A waiting list is absolutely essential for my organization. We run monthly programs that are free but there are only 48 seats available in the venue and we ALWAYS have a waiting list. We switched to Eventbrite about 4 years ago because it was far superior to the old CT event platform. (Eventbrite now charges a fee for free events over 25 tickets, so it is no longer a good option for our tiny nonprofit because every penny counts.) Honestly... the fact that CT took so long to roll out a new event platform (it was "coming soon" for at least 4 years) and neglected to include a waiting list is baffling.
