Hello, I write weekly newsletters for Sweetgrass Development, an economic development organization in north central Montana. Our office is in Great Falls and our mission is to improve quality of life and strength of communities in the Blackfeet Nation, the Little Shell Tribe, Cascade County, Glacier County, Pondera County, Teton County, and Toole County. We use Constant Contact to promote local business & events while collecting grant deadlines, business webinars, and other useful information to save as many steps as possible for business owners who are often juggling more than one responsibility. This is why we were so thrilled to see an email from a local business owner after our December 1, 2020 email saying that he and his colleague applied for funding from the U.S. Small Business Administration after reading and getting a reminder. This is just one example; we also had multiple contacts reach out for business technical assistance because they saw our emails! One of our top priorities during the ongoing pandemic has been to keep information moving. Seeing others be able to use this information to find the support they need has brought us hope and confidence in our mission exactly when we needed it.
