This drives me nuts. It happens to almost every portrait photo I upload. I assume that there's some code attempting to recognize people and make them upright, but it's terrible. Just make it stop. The chances that I will start with a mis-oriented image are extremely small and I'm wasting time fixing images that should just upload correctly. I primarily upload images from a laptop while editing an email (click "Replace" and then "Upload"). I've only had it happen to photos, not other imagery.
