We do both but we tend to make events from scratch more often. That could be related to the change in software as we can no longer copy older events. Even so, we make enough new events to make that feature really helpful.

I agree with all your suggestions, especially the first one. We have NEVER used the "copy data" line and would love to have the ability to remove it.
