In the process of cleaning up our contact database we accidentally unsubscribed a user. I find it absolutely incredible that the only way to added them back is to inconvenience the user and force them to resubmit another subscription authorization. I could understand the need for a user to resub if they intentionally unsubscribe but if we make the mistake, the software should recognize the difference and allow the us to resub the user without the need for reauthorization. It is tough enough to get subs and this software limitation actually hurts. This might be a gamechanger to switch platforms.
